I have been working for 30 years in education teaching languages. I am a qualified language teacher.

My employers were secondary schools, sixth form colleges, the Open University, Berlitz Languages and Top Tutors Ltd.

I have worked for ZigZag Education Ltd producing GCSE and A Level teaching resources in German since 2016.

I have a passion for languages. I am good at one to one sessions.

Recently, I worked mainly online and became familiar with digital teaching resources.
I started to teach German as a foreign language to international adult learners online. I used the online resources from Hueber-Verlag in Germany. These resources are based on the exams at the Goethe Institutes worldwide following the language levels from A1 (lowest) up to C2 (highest) which are the prerequisite for working in German.

My highlight was assisting a student from Westminster College through the A Level speaking exam. The topic was 'Martin Luther and the reformation'. It involved a lot of background reading on my part.

I helped Belitz Languages with the German speaking assessment of the Lidl managers in Ireland.

At present, I have written 10 language resources at GCSE level and A Level for ZigZag Education Ltd.

I teach health studies to foreign nurses and midwives in German.
