My name is Maria. I was born in Barcelona (Spain) and I'm based in Warrington since 2016. I am trilingual, as Spanish and Catalan are my two mother tongues and very fluent in English (Advanced level, Academic IELTS 7.5). I have raised my children with 2 languages being very fluent in both of them and I am currently undertaking a course to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language (Español como Lengua Extranjera).

I would like to help you to enjoy learning the second most spoken language in the world through individualized lessons tailored to meet your needs and achieve your goals. In my lessons, you will have the opportunity to learn and talk about different topics and you will have the chance to develop your confidence and fluency in Spanish in a very dynamic way, working through different skills and exploring and learning not only the language itself but also the culture around. I can offer conversation only lessons if you are already fluent and would like to bring your Spanish to the next level. I provide all the material, on a digital or paper format, so you don't need to worry about it!

I have the experience of learning a new language and although sometimes can be daunting, being able to communicate with people is one the most grateful experiences!
