Hi, I’m Maria Carolina! I offer friendly, personalised online English lessons to help you communicate more confidently in everyday life and in your studies.

I completed my Marketing degree at the University of Leicester and am currently studying for a master’s taught in English at ESCP Business School. Having learned English myself and studied in an international environment, I understand how challenging speaking another language can feel.

Our first lesson will focus on getting to know your goals, interests and current level. From there, I’ll plan lessons around your needs, combining conversation, vocabulary, grammar and reading or writing practice. We might discuss everyday situations, explore a short article or practise a conversation for work, study or travel.

You can expect clear explanations, practical exercises and constructive feedback, with time to ask questions and revisit anything you find difficult. My volunteering experience with children in Portugal and Cape Verde has helped me develop a patient and encouraging approach.

Although I’m new to formal tutoring, I bring careful preparation, enthusiasm and a commitment to helping you progress. My aim is to create a welcoming space where you feel comfortable making mistakes, practising and building confidence at your own pace.
