I've taught different levels of students. I've delivered online lessons to 4 year old students and it was an amazing experience. Every lesson was a celebration day: one day was Pete the Cat's birthday (the character of a book) and the task of that day was to send Pete a "Happy birthday message". Next lesson's objective was to create a short audio in which we invited our friends to celebrate our own "Very merry unbirthday", and so on. I've taught young learners, adolescents from different parts of the world (Uruguay, Spain, Lithuania), and adults. My methodology is to design a number of objectives for each lesson. By the end of the lesson you'll have achieved those goals. In other words, at the end of every lesson you'll have a number of objectives that have been met by you. The sense of achievement you'll experience will encourage you to continue this learning journey. You'll learn through games, songs, videos, competitive and collaborative tasks. What's more you'll receive optional homework so that you can continue practising during the week. Each lesson we work with a different area of the language: vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, listening, reading, writing, speaking, phonological processes and grammar. Furthermore, after each lesson we'll be having a meta-linguistic and meta-cognitive reflection so as to boost self-confidence, self-worth and critical-thinking.
