I began my journey in cybersecurity with no prior computing experience, driven purely by curiosity and a desire to understand how digital systems work. I started at college, completing an NQ in Networking and Cybersecurity, and progressed through HNC and HND studies before moving on to university, where I earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Cybersecurity. This progression allowed me to build a strong foundation, starting from the basics and gradually mastering complex concepts.

Currently, I work in the industry for a global technology company that provides mission-critical IT support. This role has given me hands-on experience with enterprise-level cybersecurity, network infrastructure, threat management, and emerging technologies. I can provide practical insights into both academic theory and real-world applications, bridging the gap between study and professional practice.

I am passionate about learning and equally passionate about teaching. I enjoy helping students overcome challenges, grasp difficult concepts, and gain the confidence to succeed. I adapt my teaching to each individual’s learning style, making technical topics accessible and engaging. Whether it’s understanding core principles, preparing for exams, or exploring advanced technologies, I guide students to develop both knowledge and practical skills that they can apply immediately in their studies or careers. I believe that anyone can master cybersecurity with the right approach, and I take pride in supporting students on that journey, helping them see the “why” behind the concepts and inspiring a genuine interest in the field.
