Hi! I’m Maria, a native Spanish and Romanian speaker with professional experience in training, coaching and supporting people with different learning needs.

I grew up in Spain, where I lived from early childhood until the age of 18, so Spanish is a language I have spoken naturally throughout most of my life. I can help you not only with vocabulary and grammar, but also with pronunciation, natural conversation and the everyday Spanish people actually use.

My lessons are personalised around you. Before we begin, I like to understand your current level, your goals and how you learn best. You may be starting Spanish from scratch, preparing for travel, wanting to improve your conversational skills, or simply looking to become more confident and fluent.

Depending on your goals, our lessons can include conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading and practical real-life scenarios. I want lessons to be interactive and useful rather than simply memorising information from a textbook.

My professional background in learning and development, training and coaching has taught me that everyone learns differently. I therefore adapt my approach, pace and explanations to each individual student.

Most importantly, my lessons are a relaxed and supportive space. Making mistakes is a normal part of learning a language, so you will be encouraged to speak, ask questions and practise without feeling judged.
