I enjoy using a range of teaching methods in order to find what suits the lesson the best. I also enjoy lessons to be active and fun as the best way to learn in my opinion is to practice.

The first lesson will be diagnostic and a great chance for me to get to know you better as a person. the best teachers I have had in the past have been the ones to make a good connection with me and who I could also enjoy a good conversation with. By getting to know you better I am better able to tailor the lessons to your need.

My lessons will focus on bringing your level of English up so that you are able to get by in everyday life. This means practicing phrases and dialogue from basic everyday scenarios such as shopping, asking for directions etc.

I have completed an IGCSE English literature and English Language qualification with results placing me in the top 3% of people who took the exams. I have also taken an English literature exam at IB obtaining a level 6 whilst achieving an overall score of 40/45. Having just graduated from KCL with first class honours in biomedical engineering I feel that I have learned a lot throughout my learning education and through various tutoring in other subjects. I am confident that these experiences teaching and learning will allow me to successfully teach any student a basic level of English so that they are able to thrive in the UK or any English speaking country.
