Hi! My name is Marco, and I am a native speaker of Italian with a background in Education (that's what my Master's Degree is on) and a lengthy experience as a language tutor - I have started tutoring Italian in Scotland in 2009, and I had been giving some English classes in Italy between 2003 and 2004, including some experence as a supply teacher in public schools.
I offer lessons at any level, from complete beginners to very advanced students, and I will of course adapt the contents of such lessons to your personal requirements, also providing the relevant learning material if required.
My lessons, which can be held either online or, if the distance allows to, in person, usually last 60, 90 or 120 minutes, and I will be tailoring them to your personal needs and requirements, of course after discussing with you.
I can also set up lessons for small groups (again, both online and in person), provided that all the members are at a similar level and that their learning goals are shared.
I like to keep the atmosphere in my classes light, but I will correct inaccuracies. I can also give in-depth grammar lessons, if that is what you prefer.
With some of my students, I read short stories; with others, I play quizzes; there are some who prefer discussing the news; one student likes working on grammar drills and exercises; with a small group, I play Scrabble in Italian (I almost always win - sorry).
Please get in touch, I promise I'm nice!
...unless we are playing Scrabble, that is.
