Maram Dhiri

Hello, I’m Maram, a native Arabic speaker with experience providing private one-to-one lessons and supporting students in revision centres. I mainly teach children and beginners who want to build a strong foundation in Arabic in a patient, friendly, and encouraging environment.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their age, current level, interests, and personal goals. I begin by understanding what the student already knows and what they would like to achieve. I then prepare clear and organised lessons covering the Arabic alphabet, pronunciation, reading, writing, everyday vocabulary, basic grammar, and conversation.

My lessons combine simple explanations with practical and interactive activities. Depending on the student’s needs, we may use pictures, repetition, pronunciation practice, short dialogues, reading exercises, games, and small quizzes. For younger learners, I make lessons enjoyable and engaging so that they remain interested and feel comfortable participating. Each lesson includes a short review of previous material, a new topic, guided practice, and a final recap to check understanding.

I am patient, attentive, and supportive. I encourage students to ask questions and practise without worrying about making mistakes, as confidence is an important part of learning a new language. I also monitor their progress and adjust future lessons whenever necessary.

As I am fluent in English and French, I can explain Arabic clearly in either language when needed. My goal is to help every student make steady progress while genuinely enjoying the learning process.
