My maths lessons are interactive, engaging and tailored to each student. I believe maths should be understood, not simply memorised, so I use clear explanations, real-life examples, visual methods, quick challenges and plenty of practice to make learning enjoyable.

Every lesson is planned around the student’s needs and usually starts with a short warm-up or recap. I then introduce the topic step-by-step, using worked examples before giving students opportunities to solve questions themselves. Throughout the lesson, I ask questions, encourage students to explain their thinking and use mini-challenges, interactive worksheets and problem-solving activities to keep them actively involved.

I provide support with basic maths, school mathematics, GCSE, Functional Skills, SAT preparation, competitive exams, homework and exam revision. If there is a particular topic you find difficult, we can focus on it until you feel confident.

With 10+ years of tutoring experience and extensive experience teaching Mathematics, I have worked with students of different ages, abilities and learning styles. I also have experience teaching UK and international curricula online.

My goal is to create a friendly, supportive and pressure-free learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
