I'm a Doctor of Comparative Literature in English & French with years of experience as a Lecturer in English. I am trained in all aspects of the language (grammar, phonetics, translation, writing, argumentation) and culture (British and North American literature, history, film, visual arts). I also worked for two years as an academic advisor in English writing-to-learn pedagogy for instructors, with a specialism in inclusivity and student-centred course design. Over the years, teaching teenagers and adults, my style has been described as empathic and nurturing.
