My music journey started at a very young age. I was part of my school choir, and would regularly participate in various singing opportunities. For the last 16 years, I have been learning music: classical singing and classical instruments. I learnt various genres of vocal repertoires, for example, musicals, English & American folk, traditional classical, contemporary, and opera (French, Italian, English, German, etc.).
In recent years, I started teaching music to budding singers and musicians. I teach music to all age groups. I prefer to teach music from beginners level, moving upwards to intermediate and advance. This allows the student to have consistency in the style of learning.
I provide training in various singing styles and genres, e.g. classical, opera, folk and musicals.
I use a very relaxed approach with my students, and teach them at a pace that is comfortable for them. My lessons are fun and engaging. I provide guidance on learning material and, where possible, provide them with music sheets.
I also provide vocal coaching to those who want to train as performers. I teach my students breathing and vocal techniques that helps them improve their singing ability. I use combination on methods in my training sessions. By keeping my teaching sessions fun and engaging, I help my students progress in their musical journey, and prepare them for their graded exams syllabus with Trinity College of Music.
My lessons can be taken online. For in-person lessons, please contact me first with your requirements to discuss my availability.
I look forward to helping you become a great singer.
