Hi! I'm a maths teacher with 13 years of experience, from university lecturing in Iran to teaching IGCSE, A Level and IB in Istanbul, plus primary-level teaching. I'm currently doing further doctoral research at Cardiff University, so I know what it takes to stay curious and keep learning too.

Format: My lessons are one-to-one and fully tailored to you. We usually start with a quick check of where you're at — what feels solid and what's tricky — so we don't waste time on things you already know. Sessions mix explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving, with plenty of questions along the way so I can catch confusion early rather than at the end.

Content and dynamics: Depending on your goals, we might focus on building core understanding, working through past exam papers, or targeting specific weak spots. I like using visual examples and real-world context to make abstract ideas click, and I break everything into manageable steps rather than rushing. If maths has ever felt stressful, my priority is helping you feel calm and confident first — mistakes are just part of the process here, not something to worry about.

I've taught students with ADHD/AuDHD and students learning in a second language, so I'm used to adapting my pace and explanations to whatever works best for you.
