Each session typically includes a clear focus (such as comprehension skills, essay writing, language analysis, or exam technique), guided practice with examples, and independent work with detailed feedback. For younger students (KS2–KS3), lessons are engaging and confidence-building, with a strong emphasis on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and developing clear written expression.
For GCSE and A-Level students, lessons are more analytical and exam-focused. I support students with close textual analysis, planning and structuring essays, understanding assessment objectives, and refining written style. I also incorporate past-paper questions, mark-scheme guidance, and targeted feedback to help students maximise marks.
I have several years of tutoring experience across primary, secondary, and sixth-form levels, and I adapt my teaching style to suit different learning styles and abilities.
