Maha Shahzad

Hello, and welcome! I’m Maha, an experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience, including teaching at the University of Karachi and several years of tutoring students online from the UK, the Middle East and around the world.

I hold a BS in Geography, an MPhil (Coursework) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I teach Geography, History and Chemistry from KS3 to A Level, including GCSE, IGCSE, AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Cambridge curricula.

I believe every student learns differently, so I never use a one-size-fits-all approach. My lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, strengths and learning style. Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving coursework, catching up on missed topics or aiming for the highest grades, I will create a structured learning plan that works for you.

My lessons are interactive, supportive and focused on building genuine understanding rather than memorising facts. I break complex topics into simple, manageable steps using real-world examples, discussions, visual resources and regular practice questions. Students are encouraged to ask questions freely because I believe confidence grows when learning takes place in a comfortable environment.

Alongside improving academic performance, I also focus on developing critical thinking, independent learning skills and effective exam techniques that help students succeed long after our lessons end.
