Hi, because I really enjoy teaching I want my students to enjoy my lessons as well. Therefore I believe in a lot of speaking about subjects that are somehow close to student's interests or beliefs. I don't like boring grammar exercises; grammar is crucial if yuo want to learn a language but should be presented in an interesting and accessible way, based on real-life examples. I believe in students wanting to communicate something , not having to do it.
I have a 20 years experience of teaching English at school and on courses. I believe that every group or even every student needs an indiividua;l aproach and has different motivation. The motivation even if external at first should in time become internal, thereore stronger. I do it by creating an interest in learning language, so the student can discover interesting clauses, jokes, idioms, ways of communicating successfully .
I also like to know students' goals and expectations so we caln all follow the same direction.
In my aproach I live to activate students , nor bore them with feeding methods.
I like challenges, one of the biggest ones in my life is a complete change of life and moving to the country of my dreams - Norway
