My lessons are tailored to the goals and learning objectives of each student. In the first session I assess the goals of the student and have a conversation about the best way for them to learn, which then helps me to create a learning plan. This may involve writing tasks and vocabulary learning sheets, or may consist of speaking practice by exploring diverse and relevant topics of conversation.

Having completed Spanish at all educational levels (GCSE, A Level and Undergraduate degree), I have experience of the syllabus and can therefore help A-Level and degree students with certain aspects of their Spanish literature studies, as well as grammar and language. For others who seek to learn Spanish independently, I utilise similar teaching structures that focus on writing, speaking, listening and reading comprehension, which I teach through worksheet tasks completed by the student either prior to the lesson or during the lesson, depending on their personal schedule. For younger students I may create a more structured plan with lessons that aim to engage the fun aspect of language learning, while for older students my plans may be more fluid and led by the goals and interests of the individual. For both, if possible, homework of vocabulary learning or short worksheet tasks may be given to maximise efficiency of the lesson time.

Whatever the needs and objectives of the student may be, I make sure to design a tailored learning plan and personalised lesson plans that ensure maximum language development, so that you can reach your highest Spanish goals!
