I have always been passionate about languages and teaching. I studied and worked in Germany, and for over ten years I ran my own foreign language school, supporting children, teenagers and adults in learning English, German and Polish. This gave me a strong understanding of how different learners approach language and how important it is to adapt lessons to the person, not the other way around.

One-to-one teaching is where I feel I work best. I like to get to know each student, understand how they think, what motivates them and what makes learning difficult or enjoyable for them. My lessons are calm, friendly and flexible, with a strong focus on conversation, confidence and helping students find their own way into the language.

I also have particular experience and understanding of neurodivergent learners, including Autism, ADHD and AuDHD. Through tutoring, home education and lived experience of neurodiversity, I understand how challenging traditional learning can sometimes feel. My aim is to create lessons where students feel understood, supported and safe enough to learn at their own pace.
