Hello!

My name is Mafalda, and I’m a graduate from University of Essex who was born and raised in Portugal!
Portuguese is a tricky language, and my goal is to make sure your needs are met from the beginning to the end of the process.
The lessons will be online. I will start by assessing your current personal language level, understanding where you would like to reach, and discussing whether you have a specific goal or time limit, such as an exam, a work proposal, travelling, or simply feeling more confident using the language. Everyone is welcome! :)

After this initial assessment, I will create and send you a structured teaching plan based on your individual needs and goals. I believe it is important that you agree with the plan and feel comfortable, confident, and motivated throughout our lessons. This plan may be adapted as the lessons go, depending on your progress and what you need to focus more on.

Approximately every month, I will assess your progress through three different tests: writing, listening, and speaking. These will allow us to see what you have improved on and identify any areas that may need more attention. Please know that this is not an official exam, simply a progress evaluation.

I would love the opportunity to work with you and share all the little tricks, tips, and techniques that can make learning a new language feel much easier, more natural, and enjoyable!
