My law A-Level lessons are designed to be clear, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I aim to create a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in difficult topics.

In terms of format, I usually begin by identifying what the student is currently studying and which areas they find most challenging. Lessons are then structured around those needs. We might start with a clear explanation of a topic, such as negligence, criminal law, contract law, or the English legal system, before working through examples together. I like to break complex legal principles into simple, understandable steps, and then apply them to problem questions or essay-style tasks so students can see how the law works in practice.

My lessons are interactive rather than just lecture-based. I encourage students to explain ideas back to me, test their understanding through short questions, and practise applying cases and legal principles in an exam-focused way. I also help with essay structure, scenario questions, revision strategies, and how to use legal terminology accurately and effectively.

As a law student myself, I understand how overwhelming legal study can sometimes feel, especially when trying to memorise cases and apply them under time pressure. Because of this, I focus not only on knowledge, but also on exam technique and confidence-building. My goal is to help students feel more secure in their understanding, improve their written answers, and develop the analytical skills needed to succeed in A-Level Law. I am friendly and approachable and the students understanding and confidence is always in my best interest.
