Maddie Ellis

I am a marketing and management graduate from Newcastle University, with a deep understanding of core marketing principles, including consumer behaviour, branding, digital marketing, communications, market research, event management, and strategic marketing planning. As a marketing tutor, I aim to help students not only understand key concepts but also apply them confidently in practical situations. I focus on developing strategic thinking, identify target audience effectively, and building cohort marketing strategies. My lessons are structured, engaging, and rooted in real-life case studies to bridge the gap between theory and practice. I would also help develop skills in Canva, and Microsoft Suites, and how these can be applied to create new campaigns, designing business proposals, or presentations for new ideas.

My A level psychology and past experience in customer-facing roles and this has made me understand consumers behaviours, what motivates buyers decisions, and how to build suitable relationships with the consumers. I believe marketing is more than promotion, it is about understanding different demographics on a deeper level to help understand what are the effective ways to target them. My goal is to create an interactive learning environment where students feel confident to explore new ideas, ask questions, and develop the practical skills necessary to succeed in todays competitive marketing landscape.
