My experience in tutoring in Spanish began 5 years ago during my time in high school. I was in the National Spanish Society and began offering free tutoring lessons to those who wanted to improve their Spanish. I include art, music, dialogue practices one on one and simple vocabulary games. My approach to teaching is very hands on and I like my students to not only passively learn but to fully understand the culture and to gain an appreciation for the language! Depending on the skill of your child, I will accommodate my lessons and the homework. I believe in working with each student's individual learning styles to help them understand the material as best as possible. If my students were struggling with a concept, I would figure out a different way to teach or apply that same concept. I hope my passion for learning and teaching shines through to the students as they become excited and motivated to reach their goals! Thank you for considering me as your child’s tutor!
