I create personalised lessons based on each student’s level, interests, and learning goals. Whether you are a complete beginner learning your first Chinese phrases, a student hoping to improve speaking and pronunciation, or someone interested in Chinese culture, literature, and media, I will adapt the lessons to suit your needs and learning style.

My classes are relaxed, interactive, and beginner-friendly, focusing on practical communication, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, and natural conversation rather than only memorisation. I believe students learn languages best when they feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes, so I always aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment.

I also enjoy helping students understand the cultural side of the language. For students interested in Chinese culture, films, social media, or literature, I can include cultural discussions, reading materials, and deeper language exploration within the lessons. I hope students not only improve their Mandarin skills, but also gain a better understanding of modern Chinese culture and communication.

As a native Mandarin speaker currently studying Media and Communications at Goldsmiths, University of London, I have a strong interest in language, storytelling, and communication. I previously studied Humanities and Social Sciences at University College London and also received awards in national Chinese essay competitions in China. These experiences have strengthened both my communication skills and my passion for teaching Chinese in an engaging, patient, and personalised way.

I offer both online and in-person lessons in London, and I am happy to adapt the pace and content of lessons depending on each student’s confidence level and goals.
