Lucy Jack

I am a primary teacher with QTS and 10 years experience, working across the age phases from aged 3-11. I am very creative and believe in a holistic education, so that all children thrive in all aspects of their learning, consequently very inclusive and adaptable in my teaching style. I have a strong phonic and early reading subject knowledge and have taught children with SEND, so regardless of age and ability, I can create a bespoke teaching plan at an individuals current learning phase.

I am experienced in teaching alongside Read, Write Inc and other phonic programmes, White Rose Maths and STEM also for Maths and for the Sciences and Technology. I am a singer and love the arts, so creativity is something I consider important to enable a rich, diverse timetable.

My teaching style is thematic, so I will always make sure I engage in a child's own interests, so if for example trains were an individual's absolute favourite, I would be sure to use these in the resources I create/utilise to aid their learning.

I will always tutor with the child in mind, so any difficulties will always be at the forefront of how I tutor. Communication is key, so always happy to hear feedback from parents, so we can work together to help your child progress. I'm also a Mum of four children, so very nurturing, patient and caring.

I will stand by that every child matters and for that I believe both my friendly persona, creative teaching style and extensive knowledge in early education will help those I teach flourish.
