Lucy Bradbury

I am an experienced and dedicated teacher and tutor with over 18 years of teaching experience working with primary-aged children. I provide support across all areas of the primary curriculum, helping students develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and key learning skills. I have extensive experience working with children with a wide range of additional needs. I have led Specialist Resource Provisions (SRPs) in two different boroughs, where I planned for, taught, and supported pupils with needs including ASC, ADHD, global developmental delay, dyslexia, and others. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how to adapt teaching approaches so every child can access learning and make meaningful progress. Alongside general curriculum support, I also specialise in 11+ preparation and have a proven track record of helping students succeed.
All lessons are adapted to meet the individual needs of the students and according to parent/carer requests. Sessions can take the form of more 'formal' lessons (such as when preparing for entrance exams) or more practical activities depending on the learning style and need of the pupil. I am happy to take guidance/ advice from outside agencies such as schools or SALT specialists for example to enhance progress in these areas.
