My experience includes 20 years of teaching English to diverse groups of learners, ranging from young children to adults and across various proficiency levels. In my previous roles, I have successfully utilized online platforms to deliver dynamic and interactive lessons, fostering a supportive and effective learning atmosphere. I am adept at creating customized lesson plans, incorporating multimedia resources, and adapting teaching methodologies to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English, a TEFL and a CELTA certifications, which have equipped me with a solid foundation in language pedagogy, classroom management, and assessment techniques. I am proficient in using various online teaching tools and platforms, including Zoom, Meet and Teams, and I am a quick learner when it comes to new technologies.
The student is always in a central position in my classes. Their needs and interests guide my lesson planning, so I can create engaging and meaningful lessons to help learning take place. Additionally, building a good rapport with learners is something I consider extremely important. It helps create a safe and friendly atmosphere in class, consequently, leading students to feel more confident and willing to talk and practice.
