Lucian Negura

I am an Associate Professor and PhD Molecular Biologist with more than 20 years of experience in university teaching, scientific research and student mentoring. My main areas of expertise include Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Molecular Genetics and Genomics.

My lessons are designed around one principle: understanding biology is far more valuable than simply memorising facts. I help students understand the mechanisms and connections behind biological processes, breaking complex topics down into clear, logical steps and adapting the explanation to each student's background and objectives.

Each lesson is personalised. We can work on understanding difficult concepts, preparing for examinations, reviewing course material, solving specific problems, or developing a deeper understanding of a particular subject. I am comfortable teaching both advanced secondary-school students and university students, as well as adults who wish to strengthen or refresh their knowledge of biology.

My academic and research career allows me to complement textbook knowledge with real scientific examples and to explain how biological concepts are applied in modern molecular research, genetics and genomics. I particularly enjoy working with students who want to understand why something happens rather than simply learn the correct answer.

Lessons are conducted online in English, French or Romanian and are adapted to the student's pace and learning style. Whether you need help preparing for an exam, understanding a challenging topic, or developing stronger foundations in biology, my goal is to make the subject clear, structured and genuinely interesting.
