Lucia Solaz

I’m an academic writer, researcher, translator and novelist with extensive experience in education. I hold a PhD in Audio-Visual Communication, a Master’s Degree in Information Science, and have trained in language teaching, cinema, media and music.
A native Spanish speaker with a passion for education, I’ve been giving private lessons to young people and adults, individually or in small groups since 1998.
I have taught Spanish at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and A-Level in several London schools and colleges. I enjoy teaching a wide variety of students from different cultural, social and academic backgrounds, managing a range of levels and student requirements in the classroom. I have successfully prepared GCSE and A Level students for their written, oral and listening and reading comprehension examinations. I have also assisted A Level students with their research, promoting independent thinking and improving their confidence.
I have a positive and friendly nature, I’m flexible and happy to adapt to my student’s needs.
