I tutor Maths, Further Maths and Physics at A-level. My lessons are typically 60 minutes and tailored to each student’s needs. I firmly believe that Mathematics can be understood by all so long as we are taught in a bespoke manner fitted to us; my job is to find this strategy for each of my students.
I aim to develop genuine understanding rather than relying on memorisation, to give students the confidence and mathematical understanding to thrive not only in their exams, but also in their future studies and careers.
I am a First Class Natural Sciences graduate from the University of Cambridge, specialising in Materials Science, where I ranked 3rd in my year. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Fusion Engineering. I achieved 4 A*s at A-level in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Further Mathematics, the last of which was self-taught as my school was unable to run the course.
My academic journey was one of hard work and time spent in the textbooks. I am someone who in the younger years often found traditional school explanations insufficient and regularly needed to relearn topics in my own manner. That habit has led to me being more than comfortable at explaining concepts from numerous angles as well as being what made self-teaching Further Maths possible.
It is because of my own experiences that I am so passionate about making challenging topics feel accessible and helping students realise their potential, whether they are looking to improve their grades, prepare for exams, or deepen their understanding of the subject.
