My lessons are designed to make learning Italian enjoyable, practical, and effective. Every student is different, so I adapt each class to individual goals, learning styles, and levels. Whether you want to improve your conversation skills, master grammar, prepare for an exam, or simply discover Italian culture, I’ll create a plan that fits your needs.
A typical lesson usually begins with a short warm-up conversation to build fluency and confidence. Then, depending on your level, we focus on specific areas such as vocabulary, grammar, listening comprehension, or pronunciation. I use real-life materials — like songs, videos, short articles, and dialogues — so that you can experience how Italian is spoken and used in everyday situations. My goal is for you not only to understand the language, but also to think and feel in Italian.
I believe that learning a language should go beyond textbooks. That’s why I integrate cultural aspects into my lessons — from regional expressions and traditions to Italian food, cinema, and history. Understanding culture helps you connect with the language on a deeper level and speak more naturally.
During my experience as an Italian tutor at Bentley University, I’ve worked with students from many different backgrounds. Some were complete beginners, while others already spoke several languages. This experience taught me how important it is to create a comfortable environment where students feel encouraged to make mistakes and learn from them. I also like to keep my lessons interactive: I ask questions, propose small challenges, and use games or short role-plays to keep the energy high and the focus sharp.
For me, the most rewarding part of teaching is seeing students gain confidence over time — when they start forming sentences without translating or when they suddenly understand a phrase they heard in a song or a film. Those are the moments that show real progress.
Whether you’re learning Italian for travel, study, work, or personal passion, I’ll help you reach your goals step by step, at your own rhythm, and with a positive and engaging approach. My mission is simple: to help you fall in love with the Italian language and culture while feeling proud of your progress every time you speak.
