Louisa Boyles

As an illustrator and artist educator with over 16 years of professional experience, my lessons are designed to be warm, inclusive, and confidence-building. I work across illustration, surface pattern design, and public art, and have collaborated with clients such as Usborne, Priddy Books, De Beers, and American Greetings. I bring this real-world insight into every session, offering creative and practical support for students of all levels.

My sessions are tailored to each learner—whether you’re developing your drawing skills, building a portfolio, exploring visual storytelling, or just looking to reconnect with your creativity. Lessons can focus on anything from children’s illustration and mark making, to surface pattern design or community art. I also specialise in creative facilitation for wellbeing and confidence, drawing from years of experience delivering inclusive workshops and supporting SEND learners.

You can expect a relaxed, encouraging environment where exploration is welcome and perfection isn’t the goal. Sessions may include short drawing exercises, project work, technique demos, or idea development depending on your needs. My aim is to help you find your unique voice and feel empowered through making art.
