Each student learns differently, so my tutoring will cater to your needs. Tell me the areas you are struggling with, and I will use real-life examples to help you understand the topic. Whether you learn visually with graphical designs, or by pure logic, your learning will be tailored to you. I will keep you actively engaged by having you reiterate concepts to me, and I will create fun mini-quizzes to gauge your understanding at the end of each topic. Each lesson, we will briefly cover previous topics, especially those that relate to the current or upcoming lesson content. This repetition will keep your mind active and help you achieve or exceed your goals.

I have taught marine ecology to students aged 14-22, as well as a few mature students in their 30s. My lesson style is driven by my enthusiasm for Biology, and I hope that mindset can influence you too!

I simplify and explain hard topics such as molecular processes (including photosynthesis and respiration), genetic techniques like PCR, and inheritance and evolution. Back-and-forth conversation and drawing diagrams will help in these areas.

Our first lesson will be to get to know each other and establish the areas you would like to cover in the future. I have strong knowledge of the fascinating ways Biology matters in familiar environments, and I teach it in a fun way, so if you're not enjoying Biology, I am the perfect person to change that.
