My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each learner’s goals. I typically begin with a clear objective, introduce language through guided examples, and then move quickly into supported practice so students are actively using English rather than just listening. I focus on building confidence through meaningful communication.

With a background in Digital Anthropology and a Cambridge CELTA (Pass B), I’m particularly interested in how language learning is shaped by interaction, context, and engagement. I like to incorporate creative, game-based and pattern-recognition activities where appropriate, helping students notice how English works rather than memorising isolated rules. This keeps lessons dynamic and cognitively engaging, especially in 1-to-1 settings.

I’ve taught across multiple contexts: CELTA practice at lower-intermediate, intermediate, and upper-intermediate levels; one-to-one saxophone lessons (both online and in person) for adults and children; and swimming lessons, including work with neurodivergent learners. These experiences have made me adaptable, patient, and attentive to individual learning styles.

I prioritise clear structure, simple instructions, and responsive feedback, while keeping lessons warm, focused, and communicative
