Hi, I’m Lizzy. Ever since I could hold a pencil I’ve drawn! I have a degree in Fashion Design, and I particularly love drawing and illustration.
I was responsible for the running of the PrePress department within our family printing company for 20 years.
Here I created my own greetings card range.
Over the years I have been fortunate to share my love of art with people of all ages and abilities.
I have run weekly art sessions at a hospice, delivered activity days in schools, tutored students in their homes and currently host a monthly art group for adults.
I like to keep things fun.
I always begin with a warm up like ‘don’t look down’ drawing to help people relax.
I tend to show a variety of examples to give people a starting point.
Then I will deliver a quick demonstration showing how to use the materials and any tips I think will be useful.
I like to let people find their own style and way of working which suits them.
It’s nice to sit back and create alongside the group and be on hand if anyone needs a little guidance.
