I am a final-year BSc (Hons) Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience student at the University of Nottingham, eager to make complex, abstract theories more accessible and easier to understand as real-world concepts. As a student who has navigated academic pressures first-hand, I understand the impact they can have on performance. Therefore, I actively integrate stress management tools into my lessons so you can feel completely prepared.

My academic legitimacy is supported by my experience as a research assistant, where I assisted in setting up and running specialised EEG equipment. Additionally, working as an exam invigilator gives me a unique insight into formal testing environments, strategic time management, and effectively reducing exam anxiety

I am eager to help students gain confidence and master the subject by breaking down intimidating topics like biological psychology and research methods into simple, easy-to-understand concepts.

Using both the academic knowledge I have gained through my degree and my hands-on research experience to make abstract theories more accessible. Additionally, through my course, I have a strong foundation in data analysis using SPSS, PsychoPy, and Excel.

My lessons are interactive, and teaching focuses on exam technique, essay structure and managing exam anxiety to score top marks..
