Hello, I'm new to find tutors as of 1st feb 2026. I teach student in workshops and courses on on fine art from drawing tobeginners oil painting to classical methods of 16/17th Century painting techniques that Rembrandt and Leonard used.
Drawing courses are for beginners to intermediates. I supply you with a series of drawing exercises to help you train your rght brain hemisphere by getting you to see differently. You will cover line drawing, 2 d drawing of anatomical body areas, such as eyes, hands, side profiles, gradually building up to 3D modelling by understanding light medioum and shadow values. You will understand the transitions, drawing ing from images to eventually pictures of casts/statues, and then people.

You then move to painting in black and white, then colour oil paintng for beginners,
You can also go straight into the painting methods and materilas of the 16th/17th Century bu creating a underpainting use pigments made into paint, and apply glazing techniques as they did in the traditional and spiritual way of working in those times.

I also work with gouache and watercolour in illuminated designs, I work with bole and gold leaf for Ocon related imagery and have a good understanding of geometry.

I have studied this style of art sine 2011. Studying a London Fine Art Studio, and various courses at the Kings School Of Traditional Art. I have sold work through Fairs and World Of Interiors magazine and given courses with 95% of stutents returning for future courses.
