Lisa Baldini

I'm a friendly, approachable tutor with over 15 years’ experience teaching in UK universities, most recently as an Associate Professor of Climate and Environmental Science. I now work part-time in the conservation sector, but remain passionate about supporting students to achieve their academic and career goals.

My background includes designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Geography, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, and Geology. I’ve worked with students from a wide range of backgrounds, including international students, those returning to study, and those managing additional learning needs — and I’m committed to creating inclusive, engaging learning environments where everyone can thrive.

I offer tailored one-to-one support in subject content, research skills, and academic writing, as well as coaching for university applications, CVs, and interviews. Available for online or in person (local) sessions. Before each session, I’ll ask you to share the specific topics or challenges you're facing so I can design a focused, impactful session that meets your needs.

My approach is supportive and practical: I’ll help you build confidence and deepen your understanding with clear explanations, worked examples, and plenty of encouragement. Whether you’re preparing for exams, writing coursework, or exploring your next steps, I’ll help you get where you want to be.
