I have tutored at English GCSE level, for both Literature and Language, helping student feel confident in their subject matter and feel prepared for any mocks or exams. My lessons are tailored to each student but always include focussing on key elements desired from exam boards, such as themes, characters, plot, language features, structure and eloquent writing techniques. A typical session would include focussing on one of these topics, using mindmaps, visual prompts and repetitive testing to allow for the student to feel confident in knowing the information. Nearing exams, I focus on practice papers and writing support in order to push the student's grade even higher. I heavily focus on the needs of each student and go over what they find most challenging.
