My lessons are held online and tailored to each student. Before we begin, I have a short chat with you (or your parents) to understand your goals, your exam board and where you feel less confident. That way, every session is focused on what you actually need.
A typical lesson combines clear explanations of key concepts and studies with active practice, such as exam-style questions, essay planning and applying theory to scenarios. For essay-based subjects, I put a strong emphasis on structure, evaluation and using evidence effectively, since this is often where marks are won or lost. I also share resources and summaries after lessons so you can review in your own time.
I aim to keep sessions relaxed and supportive. Asking questions and making mistakes is part of learning. At the same time, I make sure every lesson is content-rich and moves you forward.
I graduated with a First-Class BSc in Psychology from the University of Bath and am now studying for a Master's in Clinical Psychology. I've taught students across a range of ages and abilities. I also spent a year doing developmental research at the Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development at Birkbeck, which lets me bring real research insight into lessons. I teach GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and IB Psychology across exam boards. I'm also happy to explore general psychology topics or specific areas of interest for students who want to go beyond the syllabus.
