Though I was born and raised in America, I was trained to teach Standard British English and reserve the legal right to teach in the UK. Here are a comprehensive list of duties and responsibilities (both current and past)

- Prepare lesson plans and examinations for group classes (adult and YLs) across levels A2-B2

- Give one on one feedback with recommendations about any necessary level adjustments or changes for the future

- Experience with hybrid style classes (some students online and in person)

- Prepare lesson plans for YL’s (levels A1-C1 First and Advanced)

- Training for YL's for the First and Advanced Cambridge Exams (I.E- Great Thinkers/Open World Curriculum and Practice Exams)

- Attend developmental and educational workshops; self-volunteered to peer observe other classes

- Teach 1-to-1 lessons and generated GTKL reports to the DOS (identifying their needs and providing techniques for both neurodivergent and neurotypical learners)

(A note for parents: I am in the midst of getting my DBS check for the UK; I had one for Portugal when I worked at IH Viseu. I have also received a pass B for the CELTA with IH London)
