I have previous private tutoring experience as well as prior experience in an Educational setting and I understand how daunting English can be. My goal for all of my students is to improve their confidence and enthusiasm for the English language in a 1-1 setting. A classroom environment is not for everyone and I reflect that in my teaching style, I pride myself on teaching lessons that are geared toward my students and their interests (We can make an English lesson out of almost any topic if you try hard enough!).

Our first few lessons will consist of me getting to know you and gauging your competency with the English language. We'll set goals for each lesson depending on your skills and how confident you feel. Each lesson will be split into two and we will focus on one of the following key areas: writing, reading, speech, textual analysis and media analysis. The lessons will be tailored to your needs and interests in order to keep them interesting and suited to you.

Throughout our time together we will work on a piece of literature or media that we have chosen or that you may be working on in other education and I may give small tests or assessments (with plenty of notice) that we can refer back to and see your progress! If you feel like you would benefit from homework between our lessons I am happy to provide that, however, I understand that it's not for everyone.

I want the best for all of my students and no matter your skills I am confident we will make strides in your progress and confidence with the English language!
