Hello, my name is Letitia, and I’m an English tutor helping learners improve their speaking ability and also grow in confidence.

I have a bachelor’s degree in Chinese and Linguistics and am currently completing my TEFL certification to further my teaching practice. I’ve taught English in both China and Italy, working as an au pair, tutor, and English nursery teacher. Additionally, I have provided one-to-one tutoring sessions for children with special educational needs. These experiences taught me how to adapt lessons to each learner, use creative activities, and always keep learning fun and engaging.

As a language learner myself, currently studying Chinese and Korean, I completely understand the challenges that come with learning a new language. It can be very frustrating, scared of making mistakes, but also exciting when you realise how much progress you’ve made. Because of this, I aim to create lessons that are supportive, encouraging, and practical.

In my lessons, you can expect personalised learning tailored to your learning goals, focusing on improving your speaking abilities. This includes enhancing your ability to chat confidently, preparing for interviews, and engaging in everyday conversations. I’ll use fun and interactive activities, such as speaking practice, role-plays, games, and real-life scenarios, to keep learning active and enjoyable. We’ll focus on building confidence in speaking English to get you a step closer to speaking like a native.
