My lessons are structured, focused, and designed to help students improve quickly through clear explanations and lots of exam practice. I mainly teach GCSE students in Maths, Physics, Biology, Computer Science, and RE, with an emphasis on building understanding first and then applying it to exam-style questions.

Each lesson typically starts by identifying the topic the student is struggling with or wants to improve. I then break the topic down into simple, step-by-step explanations, making sure the key ideas are fully understood before moving on. I avoid overcomplicating things and focus on making difficult concepts feel manageable and logical.

After the explanation, we move into active practice using exam-style questions. This is the most important part of the lesson, as it helps students learn how to apply knowledge under exam conditions. I guide students through questions at first, showing method and structure, then gradually reduce support so they can attempt questions independently. I also highlight common mistakes and show how to avoid them.

My teaching style is calm, patient, and focused on improvement rather than pressure. I understand what it’s like to struggle with consistency and difficult topics, so I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.

Although I am currently still writing my GCSEs myself, I have strong knowledge in my subjects and regularly use structured revision methods such as past papers, error logs, and topic-based question practice. This helps me explain content in a way that is relatable and easy to understand for other students at the same level.

Overall, my goal is to help students build confidence, improve exam technique, and achieve higher grades through consistent practice and clear understanding.
