Lena Makadsi

Hi! I’m Lena, a medical student at the University of Warwick and I’d love to help you with Biology, Chemistry or Maths. Before studying Medicine, I completed a degree in Pharmacy, so I have always had a strong interest in science and enjoy understanding how things work.

I know that sometimes a topic can feel really difficult or overwhelming, especially when you’re preparing for exams. I want my lessons to be a relaxed and supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and working through things at your own pace. I’ll always try to explain concepts in a clear and simple way, and adapt my teaching to whatever works best for you.

I have also been involved in teaching at university, which I really enjoy. There’s nothing better than seeing someone go from saying “I don’t understand this” to suddenly having that lightbulb moment!

Outside of studying, I enjoy going to the gym, running and spending time with friends. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know you and helping you reach your goals! ??
