I have experience of teaching young people and adults. I have worked fornally as a further education lecturer and taught Access to Health, Access to Psychology, GCSE Psychology, AS level and A2 level Psychology. I also have experience of delivering training for professionals in the area of domestic abuse and sexual violence, along with a 20 year career in this area I have a lot of knowledge on neurodiversity, along with personal experience. I have a strong command of the English language, achieved good grades at GCSE and A- Level, and I have been commended for my report writing and note taking skills at work. I am an author and poet, so can tutor in creatuve writing. I have had both poetry and flash fiction published along with experience of writing form poetry. My author name is Leanna Webbe.
My teaching style is person centred and can be tailored around your needs. I am very gentle and supportive and I prefer to work collaboratively, giving you full control over the teaching methods used and you will also recieve complimentary pastoral support, advocacy, advice and guidance because I have gained over 300 clinical hours in counselling and psychotherapy (privately and on placement), and I also have NVQ Level 3 & 4 and a modern apprenticeship in advice and guidance. Furthernore, I am a qualified advocate for children and young people, with experience of making neurodiversity referrals and supporting people to make complaints.
