The most important thing is to make a dynamic class so that the class time is fun and with optimal learning.
In my experience teaching, I always try to make the students feel comfortable and free to talk, giving them confidence.
Reviewing grammar is fundamental to internalize knowledge. This is also an important part of the class.
When a person speaks another language in many cases the language is not going to be perfect but he/she will need to be able to communicate, to be encouraged to do it and to leave aside the innnibitions and fears, that is what we work on deeply.
I also encourage them to exchange questions, give points of view, review topics of interest to the student, prepare the class with current material to be discussed.
When you learn languages the important thing is to make the student talk, that is my goal.
