I like to run my lessons according to how my students like to be taught. Some people are visual learners, while others may be auditory. I personally think I learn better with a combination of both visual and auditory cues. I will try to approach each problem from as many angles as possible so hopefully one way will click for my student. Since I have tutored in the past, I have the knowledge that every student learns and retains information differently and it may not be efficient to keep repeating the same style of teaching. To avoid frustration on both ends, I am flexible with the way I teach so that we are more likely to understand each other!
