I am a passionate reader who enjoys working with different genres and exploring different types of literature - as well as writing my own in my free time. I have also had successful experiences working with children on a reading programme before through volunteering as a reading helper with Coram Beanstalk - an opportunity I was connected with through school.

Lessons with me will be dynamic - you won't be taught at, instead I'll do my best to make the sessions interactive and engaging! Your opinions can have a transformative impact on your understanding of the subject - from GCSE essays, creative writing tasks, or just getting through a book!

I’m dedicated to my role in helping - from making personalised resources, to finding engaging material. I want to encourage curiosity and a life-long love of reading and would strive to deliver the best quality sessions I can.

I've been doing English Literature at A Level and have been predicted an A and want to take it forward through my degree choice of English Literature and Creative Writing.

Our sessions will always have a similar structure - a review of any set tasks or what we did last session, then a new task to engage with (with independent or collaborative elements to suit your needs), and then a final task or reflection to engage with either at the end or in preparation for the next session.

But don't be worried about it being repetitive - I will make sure every session has something new to look forward to!
