I am a dedicated and supportive English Literature tutor who is passionate about helping students gain confidence in reading, analysing, and writing about literature. My academic background includes seven GCSEs at grade 4 and above, as well as a Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification in which I achieved the highest grades my college had ever awarded. I now study Law at university, where I have developed strong analytical, communication, and essay-writing skills — all of which directly support my ability to teach English Literature effectively.

My lessons are designed to be clear, engaging, and fully tailored to the needs of each student. I begin by identifying their strengths, areas for improvement, and personal learning style. From there, I create structured lesson plans that focus on key skills such as understanding themes, analysing language, exploring context, and building strong exam responses.

I use a mixture of interactive discussion, step-by-step explanations, model answers, and practice questions to ensure students truly understand the material. I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable parts and always encourage students to ask questions and think independently. Whether a student needs help with set texts, essay planning, or exam preparation, I adapt my approach so they feel fully supported.

My goal is to help every student grow in confidence, develop stronger writing and analytical skills, and achieve the best possible results. I am patient, reliable, and committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and capable.
