My lessons are friendly, interactive and tailored to how each student learns best. I usually start by checking where a student feels confident and where they're struggling, then build the session around that - working through problems together, asking questions to check understanding, and adjusting pace as we go rather than sticking rigidly to a script.

For Maths and Physics, this often means breaking problems into smaller steps and working through examples together before students try similar questions independently. For Philosophy, Logic and Essay Writing, I focus on structuring arguments clearly, questioning assumptions, and building up to independent essay planning and writing.

I have over two years of tutoring experience in the UK and internationally, holding a First-Class BA in Philosophy from the University of Birmingham and a Distinction-level MA in Transnational Governance in progress. My own A Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics (A*AA) mean I can approach these subjects from a place of real familiarity, not just theory.

Lessons typically run 60 minutes and work well both in-person and online, and I adapt them for a wide age range - from GCSE students needing exam support to university-level students working on essays and argumentation.
